Carrie Underwood's "Play On" tour stopped at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans last night. Not only were her supporting acts of Sons of Sylvia and Craig Morgan great, but Carrie Underwood has served notice to the female country world that she IS the real deal. My wife loves Carrie, and this was her Christmas present. She was NOTdisappointed!

A great heart, firmly founded in her faith and convictions, and a sincere desire to reach out to her fan base shows in an incredible deisplay of showmanship and talent ffrom the stage. Young and old, male and female alike, you could not help but be moved in this show. In particular, Carrie's rendition of, "How Great Thou Art" brought down the house with emotion that is rarely seen in a concert.

Her "fly over" from the bed of a pickup truck was a hit, and her stage was one of the most complex and best that I've seen in concert. Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite PEOPLE, much less artists, and she will be a mainstay in the American music scene for years to come. I highly recommend that you bring your family to catch this show before it's over!

I have to say that it is refreshing to see that an artist, who's albums I love, also puts on an incredible live show! She has so much passion for what she does, and it shows in the emotion she puts into her performance of each song. I also loved when she rode the blue pick up truck over the audience. I LOVE Carrie Underwood. One of my favorite singers in the whole world. Went to her Play On Tour, and it was nothing short of impeccable. The girl can SING. She did a rendition of Jesus Take The Wheel/How Great Thou art and many people(especially a few older folks) were moved to tears. I would absolutely recommend going to see her!

we saw Carrie at the Hollywood Bowl last year and she was fantastic!!!
We have to see her again at Staples Center. It's money well spent.
She is still the #1 singer to ever come out of Idol, not to mention one of
the best singers anywhere right now. GO SEE HER!!!!!

My first Carrie Underwood concert was a couple years ago and was something I will never forget! She sung her heart out and I just had the best time ever at her show. Ever since seeing her in concert, I am forever a dedicated fan and will go to many more concerts in my life of hers! Thank you carrie, you are such an inspiration to me!!

The girl can SING. There were absolutely songs that gave me the chills because they were so good and so touching. In my opinion, Carrie is an awesome performer, but not always the best entertainer. This concert in particular had minimal dancing, no special effects, it was simply Carrie singing. If you are a concert-goer used to acts like Brad Paisley and his concert video screen or Rascal Flatts and their high tech special effects, definitely make sure you set your expectations that this is not that kind of show.

Carrie was awesome, I go to a lot of rock concerts and she was very comparable!!!!! The only bad thing was that we had good seats, but as soon as she came out and everyone stood up we could not see a thing. I understand people like to stand but the stage needs to be alot higher.

Carrie puts on a very good show. She is very personable and connects with the audience very well. Would recommend seeing her concert.
The thing that upset me was I ordered tickets at 10:00 (when it first opened) the day of the pre-sale. I ended up almost in the back row. How can that be? Her show wasn't even sold out so you can't tell me there weren't better seats available at that time. I'm beginning to question this pre-sale thing.

very good! concert was great! a couple of complaints one of which you could do nothing about. the cold weather. my only other thought would be to have more than one merchandise booth. line was too long and deterred my wife and i from making any purchases. we waited in line for approx 35 mins and didn't even make it halfway through the line so we left and sat down,

(side note) would love to spend a night out there sometime! just cant afford it... if you hear of any free room giveaways let me know!

(extended seat talk) very good location! possibly more space between u and the row in front of you. had 2 leave early and had to make everyone get up and move out to the aisle just so we could get out. not bad for us, but probably frustrating for them.

My girls, 10 and 12, LOVE Carrie Underwood so I thought this would be a great first concert. Her lyrics and moves aren't too suggestive. Unfortunately, it was too late in the evening for them (she started at 9 pm), we sat too far back, in front of scaffolding, so the view was limited. My 10 year old said, "I could watch her on a TV screen at home and see what I'm seeing." We liked how she interacted with the crowd, some of her songs brought tears to my eyes, but overall, it was not worth the $270 spent for a family of four. She was frequently out of breath, as I don't think she has performed live in a while, and she forgot some lyrics. I love the idea of an outside amphitheatre...we just won't attend unless we get better seats next time.

She was Awesome! Very Girl next door, funny and loved to have fun! She had me when she sang GNR song. SHe really wanted to connect with her fans and she really did so by talking and telling a few great stories. She really inspired my daughter!

You can sum up her performance in one word, AMAZING! A great talent who does not take for granted the gift that has been given to her. She made you sing along, dance, laugh, cry, smile and enjoy yourself. Definitely worth any price. A sheer talent who not only wants you to enjoy yourself but wants to experience it all with you. A great voice who will give you goosebumps. Best concert of the summer, even if it was freezing! I brought my Mom with me and she is a huge fan of Carrie. Can't wait until the new album and the next tour!

Carrie Underwood was awesome. Only wish I could have seen her! Purchased the most expensive tickets, but couldn't see the artist! Stage should be raised. Also the screens were not high enough and clarity was poor. New venue with supposed theater seating, yet couldn't see above or around the heads in the rows in front of us. We were in section G, row 20. These should have been cheaper seats! For the price I paid, I should have saved the money and stayed home and watch her next time she's on TV! Sound quality was good and loved the outdoor atmospere!
