So much fun! I went back in time to a wonderful place. I love the outside festival, seeing everyone in their "hippie attire", laughing and enjoying themselves. The music, the vendors, the food and drink.....so nice. As a classic VW lover looking at the cars is always a treat. I wish more people would show their cars! The more VW's the better! And of course the line up of entertainment is always superb! The talent that came out of the 60's and 70's can't be matched! Dance to the music!!!! I'm already looking forward to next year. Or, maybe we could have this twice a year!!???

MISSED "THE RASCALS" & GOT THERE WHILE "RICK DERRINGER" WAS PLAYING. I CAN SAY THAT I SAW "RICK" IN THE LATE 70'S & HE SOUNDED SO MUCH BETTER NOW THAN EVER. INTERMISSION AFTER RICK. NEXT UP...MARK FARNER!!! WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT MARK EXCEPT HE SEEMS TO GET BETTER & BETTER AS TIME GOES BY. HE'S ABSOLUTELY TIMELESS!!! DAVE MASON...ALSO GOOD BUT NOT MY FAVORITE PERFORMER OF THE NIGHT. ALSO, THE CROWD WAS SO MELLOW...IT REALLY SURPRISED ME. ESPECIALLY WHILE RICK DERRINGER WAS UP THERE JAMMING & THEN MARK...THE AMERICAN PATRIOT...C'MON PEOPLE...SHOW THESE PERFORMERS SOME RESPECT. I THINK I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN MY SECTION WHO WAS ACTUALLY STANDING THROUGH MARK'S WHOLE PERFORMANCE. NOW HOW CAN YOU SIT THROUGH GRAND FUNK RAILROAD MUSIC. I HEARD A FEW PEOPLE YELLING TO SIT DOWN BUT I DID NOT...WAS IN THE SECOND ROW & ENJOYED EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!

Understandable time restraints because of four groups, but would have liked to see more of Dave Mason and Mark Farner. Rick Derringer can still wail on the guitar. Small crowd but they were dancing in the aisles. Great time.

Really enjoyed the opportunity to see so many members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Felix could have used a little more time, and Dave Mason as well as Mark Farner were great.

What was impressive was that each of the performers seemed really into what they were playing, even though they have played these songs many, many times, and before much larger audiences. Great, versatile back-up musicians. Great connection with the audience.
They may not look like they once did,with the exception of Mark Farner, bu they sounded great. There is a reason that these songs have stood the test of time. Go see this bunch if they come around again.

they all put forth a good show, alot of rock & roll for the $$..would of enjoyed alot better,especially the wife and friend,who had to sit outside the seating area, because it was really hot and stuffy inside.it wasn't sold out, so we figured they were saving money by not putting on the air conditioner..bad idea!!

Excellant show. Such a great variety of performances. Every group brought back memories. Very upbeat & a make you feel good show. Sometimes you forget all the great different hits these groups had. I would recommend highly.

Phenomenal oldies show with iconic performers singing some of Rock's all time favorites. Dave Mason, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, sounded as good as he did 30 years ago, performing one of Rock's most covered songs, "Feelin; All Right", which he wrote at age 19! Rick Derringer shredding the guitar and belting out "Rock and Roll, Hootchie Koo". Felix Cavalierre and The Rascals' "Groovin'" and "People Got to Be Free" sounded better than it did coming right out of my tape deck "back in the day". And Mark Farner, THE voice of Grand Fund Railroad, a perpetual motion machine, gave a non-stop rockin; performance of some of GFR's classics, "I'm your Captain" and "I'm in Love With A Girl".

All the acts were good. And it was cool at the end of the night how they played together.
However, having visuals in the background would have made the night 100% better.
If you showed films and pictures of the 60's/70's on the large backdrop in back of the performers, the music would have been enjoyed even better.
(This was done in the show Beatlemania and it was great. They had pictures of the good and bad.)
It would have been really emotional with Mark Farner and Dave Mason singing their own songs right there and everyone reliving the times through the visuals. You had the original guys sounding like they just recorded the songs-the visuals would have put it over the top. You know how history repeats itself? They could have shown Vietnam AND Iraq and gotten the same response. Young and old. The 60's songs will never go out of date because things don't change. The government will always be screwed up, there will always be poor and rich, and there will always be a war or the threat of one.

The show was great , having the same backing musicians is the ticket. Cut way back on set up from one act to the other. Sound was out standing except for the acoustic in " closer to home " eeded a boost on those special parts. And a big round of hands together for the backing mucians who were able to jump from one style ( artist ) to the other. All good , will go again if offered. Not a big crowd ? But still goods tunes.

Very disappointed in this show. Although Dave Mason and Rick Derringer are great performers, I didn't remember them as being a driving force in the "Hippie" era. Felix Cavaliere is a great part of the "Hippie" movement but had so little time to play and only gave us a few songs from his large catalog of music. Mark Farner should have been the headliner as he was the only act to bring the crowd to its feet without help from the band. he is truly a class act. Hopefully if there is a 2012 Tour we can see a better selction of performers.

Even though the theater was only 1/3 full, the 4 acts came out kickin' butt. They played hard and in my opinion sounded better now than they did when they were young. They all had loads of energy and gave us a great show, well worth the money. I would recommend this production to everyone. Since the crowd was small, they all used the same house band. You would never know it.

The music was very good. I felt the show was way too short. 30 minutes each and one song together at the end. You would think that they would have done four or five songs together at the end.

loved this concert. can't believe that it didn't sell out. great backup band. Felix should have done more Rascals songs, but I loved the ones he did. rick Derringer is a little full of himself, but made it all well when he ended with "hoochie koo". Mark Farner, totally on top of his game. Sings and moves well. dave Mason was great also.

Go see this show if it comes to your city!!!!!!!!!!!
