This was the second time that I've seen the Black Lips live. Each time, I've had a lot of fun. This time I made my husband come and he walked away wishing we could travel to their other Florida shows!

Favorite moment: a ladybird crowd surfed then hoped up on stage and made out with Ian. when they played their old songs.. like o katrina and some of their new ish. @
Setlist: family tree, modern art, go out and get it, bad kids,noc-a-homa, time, dirty hands, etc.. @
Opening act(s): heard they were quite awful, not to be rude, from surrounding friends. @

Ive been listening to the black Lips for years, and finally got to see them play. I was blown away. such a rad vibe from everyone. Black Lips you are flipping glorious. thanks you for a monumental show. can not wait to see you fellows play again.

Favorite moment: CB drummer shot his stick into the crowd & purple shirt mosh boy picked it up, shot it back into his left hand & didn't miss a beat. @
Setlist: Hits old and new. Katrina is always a fave and the ronson produced new tracks weren't glossified, so it was all good. @

Most excellent Black Lips show, and Brooklyn's worst Cerebral Ballzy hooked the crowd as well. I moshed! I danced! I drank beer! Near perfect night.

The floor was pulsating from the dancing. A guy flew at me from the stage and hurt my pinkie. A sweaty man was completely wet. Cole threw his guitar into the crowd at the end. I went stage diving, as did a number of other folks...It was a great show!

Amazing energy from the bands and crowd. Movers ands Shakers seem a little green, but they had a couple good tracks. I talked to the bassist and he said they play in the Cambridge area. I guess I would check them out again. Box Elders played about 20 songs in 30 minutes and I dug most of them. The drummer was nuts and they had a rarely seen double guitar / double bass combo. I'll support any band that does that just on principal. I became a fan of The Black Lips after seeing them open for The Raconteurs a couple of years ago. The Middle East was a great venue to see them. Non stop action from start to finish. I know crowd surfing and stage diving kind of died after the Drew Bledsoe incident, but I was loving it last night. Can't wait to see them again.
