Even with a sprained ankle, I was dancing my ass off! I absolutely love this band, and this was my first time seeing them. the only thing that could have been a little better was that the vocals could have been louder (not the fault of the band). The energy in the place was great; everyone was having a good time.

I love Passion Pit for their upbeat music and the State Theater in Portland was the best place to see them. The theater has these raised open areas at the back and they pretty much turned into dance floors for the evening. The sound was great and it felt like it was over way too soon.

Passion Pit was amazing!! The opening band was iffy, but it was so worth it! Before the concert, I liked Passion Pit, but they are absolutely amazing live so now I love Passion Pit. An amazing experience that I hope I can do again sometime!!!

Passion Pit was incredible. The new songs were unreal and the lights made the show. The crowd varied in age a lot but it was great to see so many different kinds of people interested in good music. Overall extremely pleased :D

Passion Pit is probably one of the most underrated bands I know. They put on a hell of a show enjoyable for anyone, even if you knew none of their music. Their new stuff also sounds amazing and I'm even more excited for the new album. Only annoyance was the large amount of high school kids. The event should be 18+.

They were so damn awesome. Even better live then on CD. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. My daughter rocked the house. Lead singer was a powerhouse of energy and kept the place hopping from the moment he arrived onstage to the moment he left after the encore. First time I have ever heard a soccer anthem used to draw a band out for an encore. :)

I enjoy passion pit and all, and I certainly got my money's worth, but this performance wasn't nearly as good as some other shows I have been to. Not only do they have a small list of songs in the first place, but they failed to play my favorite song. But hey... it was only 25 dollars.

The venue was beautiful and all of the bands played great sets. I really bought the tickets to see Passion Pit, but it turns out that Rich Aucoin (whom I knew nothing about prior to the event) absolutely blew my mind with his energetic, spastic, life-affirming set. HE ROCKS.

I've lost count of how many times I've seen Passion Pit live, but what I will never forget is how amazing and mind-blowing each and every one of their shows were. From first seeing them in the dingy, yet amazingly intimate space of the Great Scott back in the summer of 2008, Michael Angelakos has crafted a sound and a show that has evolved into a majestic affair of music and MC mastery. As the size of the live band has multiplied from a one-man solo outfit playing primarily off his laptop to a full multi-member unit, they have succeeded in maintaining that precious atmosphere of a live show that feels more communally spiritual than any religious church service I've ever been to. A night with Passion Pit is a guaranteed night of magic that you will never forget. You will dance like you have never danced. You will scream the lyrics from the roof of your mouth like you have never sang. You will be enveloped in sheer euphoria. So, run, do not walk to get your tickets to their upcoming tour. I promise and cross my heart that you will absolutely not regret it.

This show was a blast! A sold out Saturday night show before Halloween. A very amped up crowd with lots of people in costumes too. This is the second time Passion Pit has played the Norva. I didn't think they could top their first visit, but they sure as hell did! I hope they come back every tour. Norfolk loves Passion Pit!!

I have been so more shows/concerts than I could ever sit down and count, this was hands down the most amazing show I have ever seen. Every band was awesome, and Passionpit definitely satisfied everyone in the crowd!

As someone who goes to a lot of shows, I was pretty excited when I saw Passion Pit was playing at the Norva. Quite a few people had recommended seeing them live to me, so I was really looking forward to it. The band themselves were great; high energy and very fun. My problem lies in how short of a set they played. It was probably 30 minutes, and considering that the opening bands were not famous, I felt really disappointed at the end of the show. Granted, they do not have a huge catalog, but they could have definitely played a few more songs. Next time they come in town I will be skipping the show and telling my friends to do the same.
