I've seen everyone there is to see in every type of venue but these guys take the cake. I traveled from Reno, Nevada all the way to Asbury Park for this show and it was worth every penny. The band plays every song they've ever written and the energy makes the place shake. Every fan knows every word so it ends up being 3500 people all singing in unison. The guys are excited to be there and are really thankful to have such great fans and in return they put on a show of the utmost energy. To top it all off Mr. Springsteen comes out to sing American Slang with Brian and when you thought the place couldn't get any louder it explodes!!

Played all their good songs old and new, you could hear the voice and the lead guitars clearly.

This is the second time I've seen Gaslight Anthem perform and they never disappoint. It was a sold out show and the energy in the Convention Hall was unbelievable as they prepared to take the stage. After a solid set of songs, everyone was shocked to see The Boss come out and join Gaslight during American Slang. To say it was amazing is a huge understatement. I can't wait until they start touring again and anyone looking for a great live show should definitely check these guys out.

These guys are one of the best bands out there. I can't get enough of their shows, and to top it off Bayside opened. The crowd wasn't into Bayside at all which was kind of a bummer, but Gaslight and their surprise guest Bruce Springsteen made the night unforgettable.

Attending a Gaslight Anthem show in Asbury Park is one of the greatest things one can experience. Since the concert was so close to home for them not only was the crowd enthusiastic, but so was each member of The Gaslight Anthem! The Christmas Surprise arrival of Bruce Springsteen made the show even better for me since I grew up listening to his music and got into The Gaslight Anthem since they have a lot of similar styles.

Like the prior reviewer said: "It's one of those shows where EVERYONE around you knows every word to every song. Brian interacts with the crowd rather than just playing through the set. One of the most positive, upbeat and sing along shows I've ever been to."

and I've seen them live when they were small (at Warped Tour several summers ago), at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, at Penn's Landing in Philly, at Radio City Music Hall, and.... just this weekend.... at the Asbury Park Convention Hall. And even though these are all very different venues, literally every show has been a euphoric experience -- so positive, so friendly, so energetic, so great. Puts you in such a great mood and is a joy to experience -- and watching the guys up on stage grinning like they're just so happy to be there with you makes it even more amazing.

(Plus........ SPRINGSTEEN SHOWED UP AT ASBURY PARK on Friday omggggg... unbelievable... even without that, though, was an incredible, 27-song set and just marvelous.)

If you ever have a chance see Gaslight play live. Incredible show. The crowd's energy and Brian's energy played off each other eventually culminating in a packed venue dancing around and singing along. And The Boss showed up. What more do I need to say?

I've been to many concerts in my day and this ranks as one of the best. It used to be that people didn't even show up for the earlier acts, but in this case I was there for the whole thing. The first band, Let Me Run, were four young guys from New Brunswick who played like veterans of the punk scene. Their music was tight and you could tell that they were having a lot of fun playing in a venue larger than they're used to. The second band, Bayside continued to warm up the crowd with their rocking style, than The Gaslight Anthem... Two solid hours of great rock and roll music. Of course the highlight to many was when Bruce came on stage, but these guys really didn't need any help to give the sold out crowd exactly what they came for, a night full of fun, solid music. Props to Bruce for not making the show about him, one song and he left the guys to do their thing.

It was an incredible show. They played a lot of their older music, which is rare in shows these days. They were just having fun and playing to their local, loyal fans.

Best show I have ever been to by far! The energy that filled the convention hall was surreal. TGA played so many great songs, and a surprise appearance by the BOSS himself? Couldn't ask for anything better.
