I've been waiting since I was about 12 to see them live. Amazing, amazing performers. And I love that they haven't lost their gritty edge. I went both nights and the second was even better. Long live!! Hope to see them again next year.

This was my 1st show @ Terminal 5 and I loved the venue. 3 floors and a decent amount of room on the floor. The Specials were amazing, the last time they were in NYC was 26 year ago and they made up for lost time. The played every song I knew (I took a pic of the set list) and the sound was great. If they come to your area definitely check them out!

To see the Specials was amazing for me. I was too young to really appreciate them (I was only 8 when they started), and I missed when they toured during the 90's.
The only disappointment was not to see Jerry Dammers. And then some unruly people in the audience threw their socks at Terry Hall, which he didn't appreciate. But they sang all of their songs (well, they didn't do their verson of Guns of Navarone or the longshot/liquidator/moonstomp remix). I loved it!!

To even have most of The Specials on stage, 30 years later was insane in itself!!

Time has not diminished The Specials! They are still special! The best show I have seen in years!!!!!! A truly incredible and timeless band. Liked them before Love them now! And I loved the venue!!!! It did them justice! It was chill and relaxed. Security were not behaving like a bunch of bullies (like in most/all venues these days)! They were not tearing camera's/phones out of folks hands when videotaping the band! The entire show (and venue) had a real nice old New York City feel to it. A truly memorable show.

The Specials were truly in top form even without Jerry. Lynval had energy galore and Terry had the same bad attitude (which was great). I can honestly say it sounded like listening to their cd. I hope they do more shows in the coming years so they can develop a new following and everyone has the opportunity to hear this legendary band!

Great venue for this band. After 30 years, they still are great. So cool to see young people and us, who sported this band's badges (yeah, that's what we called them, ask your Dad ;)) on leather jackets back in the day.

Good show; they played everything from the first record, and select cuts from the others... Neville was as active as Terry was passive (these are the two lead vocalists). The music sounded great, and they didn't dissapoint.
