Phantogram was excellent. Loud, energetic and clean sound. Stayed true to the electronic feel of the record without sounding too produced.

Oh my PhantoGram! They killed it. I've been to concerts and shows before and I have to admit this is the best. They covered my favorite tracks from "Eyelid Movies" and their new stuff from the EP. From the first song to the end, they put an energetic, hypnotic performance that got me buzzin' the whole night. I wish I was exaggerating about this show but it was that scary good! Believe that!

I enjoyed listening to phantogram in the beginning, but now after the show I completely go crazy to all their songs. They are amazing live and I would defenitly see them again

The show was so good! The opening act was good but I found them hard to connect to since they didn't introduce any of their songs to the audience. But good music though.
Phantogram was amazing!! They really connect with the audience and give a true performance. Everyone was dancing! It was so much fun!

the performers were great and the venue was pretty comfortable. largest complaint being that they didn't open the doors when they said they would (5:30, which they moved to 6, and then didn't let us in until 6:30)

Phantogram was just as visually satisfying as they were audibly. Never before I have been to a show that presented itself much like a lightshow dance club but still have amazing electronic trip-hop music. Their new EP Nightlife is a step-up from their last cd, Eyelid Movies. I can't wait to see this duo again!

Given that the Royale is still my favorite place to see a concert in Boston, I already knew I was in for an awesome time. But Phantogram pushed it beyond that. The lighting setup for this concert was on par with a small rave, which was perfectly appropriate for a band like Phantogram. The crowd went crazy for "Mouthful of Diamonds" and "Don't Move" the two singles of note, but the performance never lost its energy. Plus, Exitmusic, whose music I didn't really know at the outset, proved to be an excellent band in their own right; case in point, best picture I had from the night was their guitarist strumming his axe with a violin bow. Awesome.

The music was good, not great. The light show was sub-par. They ended the show at 9:20... way too early to begin with, then they ended 10 minutes early after an encore. We were incredibly disappointed. Otherwise, Phantogram is great - just don't expect to have a good night at the Royale. I would not recommend this venue.

They sound as good as the album recordings. I was going to travel to Philly just to see them but then they added a tour date in Boston. Thank the powers that be for that. I will continue to see any show within driving distance. They are that good!

So energetic and entertaining. Lights were amazing too. Maybe too loud and too bright for people who want to maintain their current vision and hearing status.

These guys are a class act. I saw them in Portland Oregon in April of 2010 and the show was a little more gritty...less lights, no live drummer, etc...but I was HOOKED after that show, in fact I didn't even stick around for the headlining act. When the opportunity came to see them in Boston I knew I had to make it happen.
The show was perfect short of my ticket blowing away outside the venue...luckily the folks inside actually believed my "cat ate my homework' style story and hooked it up. Phantogram is not a band you want to miss!

A shame that an otherwise cool venue just have no abilities in adjusting the volume properly. First, it was way to loud and the vocals were overshadowed by instruments. Besides that, Phantogram is one of my favorites right now and I will definitely try to catch them again. They deliver a very good show.

The lights and overall atmosphere were wonderful. This was my first time at Royale and the overall venue was unique and exciting. Had a great time and would see both Phantogram & Exitmusic again!

Sounded great, looked fantastic but a little hard to 'get into' the material from the new ep even though I listened to it a lot. Also I bummed a cigarette from one of their road crew, nice folks.

Amazing live music from an up and coming band that I would see again and again. Sarah was charming for the 30 seconds after I met her before the guard tried to tell her it was time for her to leave along with the rest of us fans still in the venue. She very graciously informed him that she actually just finished playing and was with the band... epic!!!
