Having been a huge fan of Def Leppard for over 27 years, I was thrilled to finally get the chance to see them in concert. With the added bonus of Cheap Trick and Poison, two bands I had seen in concert before, 20 years ago. We had lawn seats, but when we got there, we found out we could upgrade to back-orchestra seating, so of course we jumped at the chance and I am SOOO glad we did. We ended up being about 40 feet from the stage.
Cheap Trick put on a great performance, even in the limited time and stage area they were allotted. You'd never guess these guys are in their late 50's and early 60's with the amount of energy they exude while performing.
Poison also put on an amazing show, though they were missing bassist Bobby Dahl. They had the crowd on their feet, singing along to all their greatest hits, and even filming a portion for a dvd being made for the men & women in the military overseas.
Def Leppard .... WOW! Again, for guys in their 50's, you would NEVER guess it from the show they put on. Hearing all their biggest hits live was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I feel honored to have finally been able to see them in concert. Better late than never. The last thing Joe Elliott said before they left the stage was "Don't forget us, we won't forget you." Joe, that is not possible.

Def Leppard was great as always and loud. Now on the other hand the volume on Cheap Trick and Poison was too low and we had good seats. Section 12 Row P seats 34-36. As far as food and drink prices they are very expensive! $10 for 1 beer, $4 for a soda. I can understand making a profit but that is ludicrous. Ford Amphitheatre is a nice venue except for the bathrooms.

It was a great show by both Def Leppard and Poison. We brought our boys 8 & 10 ...it was their 1st concert. It was a great 1st show for them to see..they were in aaah of it all!
Looking forward to seeing them again.
