It's such a fun venue at the Chateau Ste. Michelle; however Diana Krall was far from
her best on Saturday Aug 29. She has such a beautiful voice; however she failed to use it. She instead performed a concert with way too much intrumental. She's not know for her chatiness with the audience and that's OK... We just want to hear her
sing. She let us down last Saturday!

Diana Krall was, of course, wonderful, though I wish she had played longer. She had an excellent sense of humor which she shared with the crowd. Unfortunately the crowd was disruptive and inattentive. The people behind us talked the entire time, even after we asked them to be quiet. They were not alone...people throughout the crowd were incredibly self-absorbed and behaved like they were attending a podunk lounge act rather than a concert by a world class performer. Because we were so far back, the crowd, rather than Diana Krall, held our attention. It was a very poor experience.

At $90 per ticket, I at least expected a show that would last longer than 75 minutes.
The music was terrific, Diana Krall was great (as was the band), but the bang for the buck was very disappointing.
